Super Lyrics is a Chrome extension that shows synced lyrics, translations, and romanization for music videos on YouTube. This policy explains exactly what data the extension and its backend collect, why, and who it is shared with. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Our servers also see your device's IP address, as any web server does. It is used transiently to rate-limit requests and prevent abuse — held only as a short-lived counter — and is never written to our database, linked to your account, or used to determine your location.

We do not send your data to any other parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. This website loads no third-party fonts, scripts, analytics, or trackers.
The extension requests only the permissions it needs: account sign-in
(identity), saving settings and your session
(storage), showing the lyrics panel
(sidePanel), background timing
(alarms), opening the checkout / billing pages and detecting when
a checkout completes so your subscription activates without a manual refresh
(tabs — tab URLs are checked transiently against our own
checkout-success address and are never collected or stored), and access to
YouTube and the LRCLIB lyrics service (host permissions). It does not read or
collect data from any other website.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will delete it within 30 days. Cached video-title translations expire automatically.
Super Lyrics is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
