These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Super Lyrics ("we", "us") covering your use of the Super Lyrics Chrome extension and its backend service (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
Super Lyrics displays time-synced lyrics, romanization, and machine translation alongside music videos on YouTube. Lyrics are retrieved from third-party sources; translation and romanization are produced by Google's Gemini API. Both are provided on a best-effort basis: song matching can be wrong, lyrics can be missing or out of sync, and machine translations can be inaccurate. The Service is an aid, not an authoritative source.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You sign in with a Google account; you are responsible for anything done through your account and for keeping access to it secure. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
The Service includes a free allowance of 3 songs. Beyond that, an optional subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) unlocks unlimited songs.
Do not: use the Service in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights; attempt to bypass the free-tier limits, authentication, or rate limits; scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's output at scale; probe, overload, or interfere with the backend; or use the Service to build a competing dataset or product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do these things.
The Service works alongside YouTube and retrieves lyrics from third-party databases such as LRCLIB. We do not own that content and make no claim to it; your use of YouTube remains governed by YouTube's own terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google. We are not responsible for third-party content, and we may lose access to a third-party source at any time, which can reduce or interrupt what the Service can show.
The extension, the backend, the name "Super Lyrics", and the logo are ours. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service as intended. They do not transfer any ownership, and you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Service except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
The Service is provided as an ongoing, evolving product. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service. If we discontinue a paid service entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have already paid for.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that lyrics, romanization, or translations will be correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — do.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be announced through the extension or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Indonesia have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
